My sister died in bed at her home in 1988. Although she was ill, her husband was also caught at one time by his sons trying to smother her to death. A few days after she died, my niece was in the house. There was a small hallway between the living room and kitchen and as she was walking down the hallway, she heard a noise in the kitchen. She saw my sister in the kitchen walking toward her and then passed right through her. She ran out of the house and never went back in.
A year later, her husband was found dead in the same bed from a gunshot wound to the head. His death was never investigated.
