Not up to trick-or-treating this year? Are you looking for more of a thrill? There is bound to be something listed below that will bring out the goosebumps in you. If you know of any other haunted attraction for this year, please contact us and let us know about it.
| Agony Acres |
Agony Acres is an outdoor trail haunt. The majority of the attraction is totally open to the environment. The trail winds through the woods and fields so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Agony Acres uses strobe lights, fog machines, and other tools to disorient and confuse. Agony Acres is not for those with heart conditions, expectant mothers or those with squeamish tendencies. Some images may be too intense for younger children. Alcohol, and other drugs are prohibited. Open flames and cell phones are prohibited. Agony Acres is not wheelchair accessible.

| Brooke Hills Spooktacular 2008 |
Spooktacular takes place in our historic, century old farmhouse which holds a shocking past, and a history of true stories of ghosts and the unexplained. Guided groups wander throughout the house, taking approximately 30 or more minutes to complete the tour. As if the 30+ minute terror packed tour isn’t enough, groups are then left on their own to brave the darkness of our huge maze, as they try to find their way out. Tickets go on sale at 6:00pm.

| Ghost Tours of Lewisburg |
Take a candlelit evening stroll past all the local "haunts" in the Historic District, while guides share stories from the "other side" of Lewisburg's history. All tours leave from The General Lewis Inn, located at 301 East Washington Street in Lewisburg. On Friday evenings, enjoy the special Best Of Tour at 7:30pm--a combination of both the Mansions and Historic Cemetary Tour. $15 per person. On Saturdays, take the Mansions Tour at 7:30pm or wait until 9pm and enjoy the Historic Cemetary Tour. The price is $10 per tour or $15 for a special evening pass that allows you to enjoy both tours! Special rates are available for group tours.

| Haunted Parkersburg Ghost Tours |
Join us, as we stroll over the quaint streets of downtown Parkersburg, West Virginia covering its haunted history and famous paranormal tales. Listen as the tour guides tell you stories of the Banshee of Marrtown, the East End Ghoul, tales of the West Virginia Mothman, the Men in Black and the November 2nd, 1966 appearance of the alien Indrid Cold (featured in "The Mothman Prophecies" book and movie) one mile south of the city limits of Parkersburg. See actual places possessed by spirits, and haunted houses along the route, and pass by a haunted graveyard hear the tales from within. Listen to famous accounts of railroad ghosts, Civil War spirits, Island haunts, and various supernatural stories unique to Parkersburg only. The ghost tour takes approximately two hours and the walk is under two miles, but at a leisurely pace so you can enjoy the beautiful scenes and mysterious atmosphere. As always, the walk begins at the historic Blennerhassett Hotel in the downtown business district of Parkersburg. Tour meets at 7:30 p.m. in the lobby of the hotel.

| Haunted Trail |
All proceeds are donated locally, we don't keep a dime of it. The trail is 2/3 of a mile long with 30+ monsters lurking along with many others attractions such as a graveyard, a miners tunnel, a maze, and more. The themes are changed every year!

| MSU Forensic Haunted House |
The Mountain State University's Forensic Science Department will be kicking off its haunted house on October 14th at 703 South Kanawha Street. This year's theme will be a haunted mental hospital. The haunted house will be operating on the following dates:
October 14th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
October 15th - 18th from 7:00pm to 12:00am
October 20th and 21st from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
October 22nd - 25th from 7:00pm to 12:00am
October 28th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
October 29th - 31st from 7:00pm to 12:00am

| The Haunted MAiZE |
Haunting will begin after completely dark. No tractor will run during haunting. Due to the large volume of people during haunting, we regret not being able to accept reservations or discounts for the haunted times only. No refunds will be given during haunting times for any reason.

| The Mansion by Candlelight - Blennerhassett Island |
For two nights only! Sternwheeler rides will transport you back to the year 1805 where the Blennerhassetts are hosting a party on the island. On this autumn evening, electricity is banished when the mansion and island are transformed into the flame-lit world of the 18th century. The soft glow of candlelight will weave a mesmerizing spell 'round about you as you listen to music, see dancing, or watch a lively game of cards. The island's cooks will be busy preparing a harvest dinner. Dinner reservations required by October 3, 2008.

| Trail Of The Dead |
It's Halloween in Logan, but it's more trick than treat. The living dead is walking the Earth and feasting on the flesh of the living. A vigilante group calling themselves ARM (Appalachia Resistance Movement) is fighting back. ARM is organizing groups to hike Chief Logan State Park to retrieve a government vaccine to combat the zombie infection. And ARM wants you!!!
